The 5th National Conference for Nonpoint Source and Stormwater Outreach will provide practitioners from around the country the opportunity to learn and share ideas on developing and implementing nonpoint source and stormwater outreach strategies that produce positive, measurable outcomes, comply with NPDES requirements, and can be successfully implemented with modest budgets. The conference will explore practical, current examples of successful outreach programs and projects through facilitated training sessions, workshops, presentations with interactive discussion, group exercises and networking events. The conference will serve local, regional, state and federal professionals tasked with educating various audiences on nonpoint source pollution, stormwater pollution, watershed protection and promoting sustainable behavior changes in challenging economic times.

The 5th National Conference for Nonpoint Source and Stormwater Outreach will be held May 11-14, 2009, at the Doubletree Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
Please make sure that you book your hotel reservation before the cut-off date of April 20, 2009, in order to ensure the NPS/SW Outreach Conference Group Rate. Attendees must ask for the room block under the name "NPS Outreach Conference" in order to obtain the group rate. We cannot guarantee that this special rate will be available after April 20, 2009.
