Preliminary Proposals are due September 15, 2008

Connecticut Sea Grant (CTSG) and New York Sea Grant (NYSG) announce the Long Island Sound Study (LISS) extra-mural research program. The program intends to fund research in support of the LISS, a regional, community-based partnership to protect and restore Long Island Sound.  Information on the LISS can be obtained at www.longislandsoundstudy.net.

The due date for full proposals (for those investigators invited to submit full proposals) is November 17, 2008. The first year of the funding period covered by this Call for Proposals begins on March 1, 2009.

Applications must be received electronically by New York Sea Grant by 4:30 p.m. EDT on Monday, September 15, 2008. Applications should be submitted following the details below.
