Guidelines for Collecting and Testing Blood Samples for Micronutrients

CD Cover for Micronutrients Video This training video reviews best practices for collecting, storing, processing and shipping samples for micronutrient testing. The practices and procedures have been evaluated and standardized in CDC's Global Micronutrient Laboratory to ensure the highest quality of testing results. These results are essential for determining whether populations are at risk for micronutrient deficiencies and if there is a need for an intervention.
