Preparation for Exams
During the short course presentations will review a great deal of the material that will be covered on the General Standards (CORE), aquatic, natural area, and right-of-way category certification exams. In addition, it is highly recommended that you review the appropriate Pesticide Application Training Manual for the categories you will be testing in.
Training Manuals:
Questions for the pesticide certification exams are derived from training manuals available from the University of Florida, IFAS Bookstore. You may order these manuals at ANY time through the bookstore’s website or by calling (800) 226-1764.
These manuals are approximately 100 pages long. In order to insure that you have adequate time to read these materials and prepare for the exams, you are encouraged to purchase manuals prior to the short course.
