Pavas, September 21, 2005 – INBio’s web page won first place at the II National Contest of Web Sites, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, RACSA and ICE. The site www.inbio.ac.cr was selected among 100 Costa Rican pages from companies, public, private and academic institutions; second place went to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Both sites will represent Costa Rica in the Latin American contest organized by the Asociación Hispanoamericana de Centros de Investigación y Empresas de Telecomunicaciones (AHCIET), that will take place in October.

The jury emphasized not only technical and content related aspects, but also said that INBio’s page is ideal to represent Costa Rica in the contest.
