News: Correction of deadline for ECAT pre-proposals

Because of a very unfortunate mistake on the part of the GBIF Secretariat, we have circulated conflicting statements concerning the deadline date for the pre proposals for ECAT seed money.
In order to be as fair as possible to organisations and individuals who intend to submit a pre-proposal, it has been decided to postpone the deadline to 15 September 2005.
Accordingly, the target dates for the ECAT evaluation process have been updated as follows:
- Pre-proposals due 15 September 2005
- Full proposals will be requested from successful pre-proposers in October 2005
- Full Proposals due 30 November 2005.
