This advanced workshop is intended mainly for those already actively involved in digital databasing of herbarium collections. The workshop will be limited to 20-25 participants. Applicants for these travel grants must meet the following requirements:
1. Must be actively working in a herbarium
2. Must be actively databasing the herbarium's specimens.
3. Must be from a GBIF member country or working with a GBIF participant organization.

Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the workshop discussions and the success of their Travel Grant applications will be based to a large extent on how extensive is the applicant’s personal experience in databasing herbaria. Request for ‘Travel Grant’ applications should be sent to lspeers@gbif.org. Please provide your email address so that application forms and further details can be sent to you electronically. The deadline for receipt of completed ‘Travel Grant’ applications is Dec. 10, 2004.
