Computer server room of the Zoological Museum of University of Copenhagen was flooded at new year eve. All servers and the museum Internet connection went down. GBIF web site and mail server were affected too. The system has been dried and Secretariat's email came up again on Monday 6 January. The web site www.gbif.org might come up a day or two later.

Meanwhile, you can use the mirror of GB support site on CIRCA whose link is on these pages for accessing some materials.

Please resend any important email messages that may have bounced.

Circa.gbif.net which is located elsewhere was not affected. Same applies to this test site beta.gbif.org, which was was only temporarily unavailable.
