Making Hotel Reservations
CDC is pleased to offer the prevailing FY2009 Federal Government rate for conference attendees. This rate applies for single, double, triple, and quad occupancy. State and local taxes are additional (as of December 1, 2008, taxes are 15%, subject to change without notice at any time).
Special note about the conference room rate: The Federal Government per diem lodging rate is set by the General Services Administration, and is subject to change at any time without notice. You will be charged the current per diem rate at the time of the conference, regardless of what the rate was at the time you made your reservation. For planning purposes, as of December 1, 2008, the FY2009 lodging per diem rate in the Dallas, Texas area is $129/$115 per night (in FY2009, the rate changes on April 1, resulting in two different rates for the different nights during the same period as the conference).

- Be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the 2009 CDC Group or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Immunization Conference when you make your reservation.
- Call the hotel before Friday, March 13, 2009 (reservations at the special rate are always subject to availability; the Government rate will not be guaranteed for any reservations requested after March 13 or after the reserved Conference block is full, whichever comes first).
Reservation Guarantee and Cancellations
The hotel will require a credit card guarantee to secure a room reservation. Reservations may be cancelled without penalty until 24 hours prior to the start of the conference or scheduled arrival.
Getting to the Hotel
Airport Shuttle
A number of companies provide shuttle services from the Dallas-Fort Worth airport to downtown hotels at rates beginning under $20 each way. Advance reservations are recommended.
Taxi
A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel costs roughly $40.00 one way.
Driving Directions from the Airport
From the airport, start heading south on International Parkway. Merge onto Texas 183 East and continue until it becomes I-35 East. Merge onto Texas 366 West (the Woodall Rogers Freeway, via exit 429A). Exit at Pearl Street and turn right. Turn right onto Live Oak Street. Turn right onto Olive Street and follow it to the hotel entrance.
Check-in and Checkout
Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm; arrangements may be made with the hotel for late check-out based on availability.
