The LPE Learing Center hosted a two part series broadcast in November and December, 2006 on "Pathogens in Animal Manure--Should We Be Concerned?" Part 1 includes discussions on pathogen basics and case studies of human outbreaks. Part 2 covers how pathogens reach water supplies, and best management practices for pastured and confined livestock to prevent contamination.
