Depending on funding availability, we are expecting to hold two concurrent
competitions in 2006: one for technology demonstration project grants
as in previous years,
and one to establish a BW Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation
(RDTE) facility.

Treatment Technology
Demonstration Projects on Grants.Gov. This competition is
similar in form and purpose to the ballast water grants competitions of previous years. The
Grants.Gov page
includes a "Revised Full Announcement 1"
that corrected a few typographical errors in the original FFO.

Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation Facility
on Grants.Gov. This competition is for a cooperative agreement to set up and run a ballast water facility. The Grants.Gov page includes
a "Revised Full Announcement 1" that
extended the preliminary proposal deadline by a few days.
