This page lists the latest versions of individual model and help files
used by BMDS. Users can use this page to determine whether the BMDS
model results used in an assessment came from the latest version of the
subject model or a previous version. This can be done by comparing
the model version number and date that appears at the top of the text output
page to the version number and date listed below.
Advanced users can use this page to download individual models (less
than 1MB per model) without having to download the complete BMDS installation
package (about 9MB). The BMDS help manual provides instructions for
running BMDS models in DOS, without the BMDS user interface. Since
the new versions of the models may or may not be compatible with versions
of the user interface distributed with older BMDS install packages, it
is recommended that users intending to use the models through the Windows
user interface should follow this link to download
the latest version of the complete Benchmark Dose Software (BMDS) package.
Finally, if you are a programmer, and would like to take a look at the
guts of any or all of the EPA models, you can follow this link to download
the source code for BMDS models.
