Patriots Theater at War Memorial Announces Concerts Now On Sale

TRENTON, N.J.—With its state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, seating over 1,800 patrons in a setting of Italian Renaissance Revival splendor, the grand auditorium of the War Memorial, known as Patriots Theater, is host to a unique cultural blend of entertainment this autumn.

Patriots Theater welcomes “Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis” on Sunday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m. Comprised of 15 of today's finest jazz soloist and ensemble players, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra has entertained patrons for over 18 years and toured over 300 cities in more than 35 countries on 6 continents.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra performs a vast repertoire, from rare historic compositions to Jazz at Lincoln Center-commissioned works, including compositions and arrangements by Toshiko Akiyoshi, Count Basie, Benny Carter, Billy Childs, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Gil Evans, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, Jimmy Heath, Fletcher Henderson, Woody Herman, Thad Jones, John Lewis, Wynton Marsalis, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Ted Nash, Oliver Nelson, Chico O'Farrill, Sy Oliver, Billy Strayhorn, Ron Westray, Mary Lou Williams, Gerald Wilson and many more.

“An Evening With Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood” is slated to entertain guests on Saturday, October 18th at 8:00 p.m. Following successful solo tours, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, stars of the Emmy nominated television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy. Using only their lightning fast wit and suggestions from the audience, Colin and Brad create two hours of interactive performance.

Comedian Sinbad takes to the stage on Saturday, November 1st at 8:00 p.m. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the “top 100 stand-up comedians of all time,” Sinbad has built a loyal following by his comedic hysteria. Sinbad’s originality has landed him in a number of successful movies, including "Jingle All The Way," "Houseguest" and "Necessary Roughness" as well as on the small screen, "A Different World" and his own sitcom, "The Sinbad Show."
