ALERT - Applicant Login Issue

If you are an applicant who has renewed, modified or registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) after December 31, 2008 and cannot login to please contact the Contact Center (1-800-518-4726/ is currently experiencing an issue pulling the nightly data extract from CCR. If you have verified your CCR registration is active and you call the Contact Center please have the following information available so that can manually enter your information into the system to activate your username and password.

  • DUNS, DUNS plus 4, legal business name, government business primary POC email address, M-PIN, registration date with CCR, applicant name, phone number and email address. will create a customer service ticket for your call and notify you once your username and password are active.

Possible Submission Delays Due to Large Number of Closings: September 30 — October 1, 2008

You may experience a delay while processing your application submission on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 and Wednesday, October 1, 2008 due to a large number of expected submissions on these days. We advise you to submit your application package early if it is due on either of these days in order to avoid delays and ensure that your application package is received and validated in a timely manner.

September 20, 2008: will be Unavailable due to System Maintenance will be unavailable Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. ET due to system maintenance. The system will be unavailable to find and apply for opportunities during this time. The maintenance taking place is to install the SunOS 5.10: kernel patch on the database servers.

June 28–29, 2008: will Conduct Scheduled Maintenance will be unavailable this weekend from 12:00 AM June 28th – 6:00 PM June 29th to conduct maintenance. Applicants will not be able to download or submit application packages. There are no scheduled closings. The system is being upgraded from the 2007 Adobe production database to new servers which will increase capacity. We apologize for any inconvenience.

System Lag Time Due to Apache Intake Servlet  

On Thursday June 12 and Friday June 13, applicants may have experienced “lag time” when trying to submit grant applications. Our analysis discovered the system's Apache Intake Servlet and Adobe forms were not configured for optimal performance. The Apache Intake Servlet is a web server that powers and supports the large-scale, mission-critical functions of The software configuration did not adversely affect the integrity of the application data or submission process. To ensure this issue does not occur again, the PMO has identified and removed the system software configuration that affected Adobe application submissions.

February 14, 2008   EEX E-Authentication Services: System Maintenance, February 17 & 19, 2008

EEX E-Authentication Services will be down for a system update on Sunday, February 17 from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 19 from 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. They have also published a maintenance schedule for all of 2008 which is included below. Users trying to authenticate through Employee Express will receive an error message and will not be able to connect due to their credentials not being verified. EEX has been asked to notify the E-Authentication Help Desk when their E-Authentication Service has been restored. The Help Desk will send an Update email upon receiving notification of EEX's restoration of service. If you have any questions regarding this Alert, please contact the E-Authentication Helpdesk at or 1-877-307-2258.
