2nd Annual Winter Lights Celebration
(for all ages) The Zoo's second annual winter lights event is bigger and brighter this season! Some 50 larger-than-life light sculptures, using environmentally friendly LEDs (light emitting diodes), light up the Zoo. Many of the sculptures are based on animals at the Zoo, including the giant pandas, Asian elephants, tigers, and golden lion tamarins. Visitors of all ages can sample hot chocolate, cookies, cider, and other treats; meet animal keepers; enjoy musical and theatrical performances; and learn how to save energy at home.
