The Ridge 2000 Office moved from Scripps Institution of Oceanography
to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on November 1, 2008, with Dan
Fornari serving as new Chair of the Steering Committee.

New Integration and Synthesis committees of
5 – 6 scientists have been formed for each Integrated Study Site to
help to stimulate progress on integration between linked parts of
the spreading center system at each site.
