No beetle If you HAVE NOT SEEN an Asian longhorned beetle, click here. Search for the Asian longhorned beetle on trees in your yard and neighborhood, and look for the beetle on car hoods, park benches, lampposts, and more. Reporting your findings — whether or not you see an ALB — is a key step in the eradication of the ALB. We need to know where beetles are AND where they aren't.

Whether or not you have seen an ALB, please report your findings.

The Asian Longhorned Beetle may still be with us...
Since its discovery in Brooklyn, New York, in 1996, in New Jersey in 2002, and in Chicago, Illinois, in 1998, the Asian longhorned beetle has caused the destruction of thousands of hardwood trees, including more than 5,000 in New York and 1,500 in Chicago. Until the ALB is eradicated, it poses a serious threat to our trees.

We have made major strides toward ALB eradication, but we need your help in searching for this destructive pest throughout the summer! Get started today!
