Public Room personnel assist the public in searching for records by providing available files, microfiche, plats, etc. for review. Tutorials and personnel assistance are available in the Public Room to aid customers with "hands-on" computer equipment.

You may request copies by telephoning (208) 373-3890 or by sending your request in writing to Department of the Interior-BLM, Attn: Public Room, 1387 S. Vinnell Way, Boise, Idaho 83709. Copy charges vary depending upon the request. Please see our Fee Page for a complete list of charges.

Case files may be checked out for review (no more than 10 files at a time). In some instances, files are unavailable due to internal work requirements on pending cases.

Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card. Call our Accounts Section at (208) 373-3893 for information about establishing a Declining Deposit Account if you will be a frequent customer. Make all remittances payable to U.S. Department of the Interior-BLM.
