Changes to the 2007 Noxious Weeds List

Each year, the Noxious Weed Committee reviews the requests for additions to or removals from the Noxious Weed List, or for changes in Class B designations.

  • This year, we have added three new invasive species and have changed the Designation areas of two Class B Noxious Weeds.

New :


Common fennel, Foeniculum vulgare, except the bulbing variety (azoricum), is now a Class B Noxious Weed. To learn more, please click here.

Spurge laurel, Daphne laureola, is now a Class B Noxious Weed. To learn more, please click here.

Yellow archangel, Lamiastrum galeobdolon, is now a Class C Noxious Weed. To learn more, please click here.

Changes to the Designation areas:


hawkweed, orange,
Hieracium aurantiacum

houndstongue,
Cynoglossum officinale
 
Now a Class B Designate in Jefferson County, thereby making it a Designate in all of Region 1. Now a Class B Designate in Chelan County.
