Sustainable Corn and Soybean Production (Summary)

Sustainable agriculture renews the environmental, social and financial resources on which farming depends. This publication discusses the relationship of corn and soybeans to overall farm sustainability and suggests ways to improve the sustainability of corn and soybean production. Two farmers are featured who have found ways to grow corn and soybeans more sustainably. Also discussed are diversification options that are inherently more sustainable than annual row crops.
