Relocation Income Tax Allowances

Sponsored by Travel and Transportation Training

Need policy guidance on reimbursement of moving expenses and relocation income tax allowances? Take this course.

Course & Session # 1750-07

Course Number: 1750

This course looks at the treatment of reimbursed moving expenses by federal tax regulations. Students learn to distinguish between federal tax regulations and the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) in reaching correct decisions concerning Relocation Income Tax Allowances (RITA) and its impact on personnel assigned to new duty stations.

Intended for: travel specialists, certifying officers, personnel specialists, administrative officers, and others who prepare agency travel regulations.

Employees who are responsible for Relocation Allowances are strongly encouraged to attend this course. This course has been approved by the U.S. General Services Administration, Office of Governmentwide Policy, Washington, DC.
