Rick Standiford serves as associate vice president of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR).

The Office of the Associate Vice President (OAVP) is a part of the Office of the Vice President, ANR, and reports directly to the Vice President. The Associate Vice President represents the Vice President in his absence, and serves as the Associate Director for the Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension, as well as Chair of the
ANR Program Council.

The Associate VP is responsible for internal management of the Division, under authority delegated by the Vice President. All academic support and administrative support functions are consolidated along with programmatic operations under the Associate VP. Included under the Associate VP's authority is the Office of the Assistant Vice President - Administrative Services, Program Planning and Evaluation, Affirmative Action and Statewide Programs.
