What does the term MSRP mean in terms of the price of a product?

MSRP is an acronym for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. It is the price that the product manufacturer suggests that a retailer charge the consumer for their product. MSRP is higher than the price a retailer pays the manufacturer for the product.
