Disaster Recovery Purchasing

Under Disaster Recovery Purchasing, state and local government entities may purchase GSA Federal Supply Schedule products and services to facilitate recovery from a major disaster, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attack. State and local government entities may use GSA Schedule contracts to purchase products and services in advance of a major disaster declared by the president, as well as in the aftermath of an emergency event.

State and Local Government Use of GSA Advantage!®

State and local government entities may now use the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system to purchase products and services under both the Cooperative Purchasing Program and the Disaster Recovery Purchasing Program. Schedule contractors that have agreed to offer Cooperative Purchasing and/or Disaster Recovery Purchasing are identified on GSA Advantage!® with the Cooperative Purchasing and/or Disaster Recovery Purchasing icon.

Payments for state and local government purchases on GSA Advantage!® are limited to credit card payments using a state or local government issued credit card. State and local government customers must also register and obtain the necessary approvals from a supervisor or approving official as part of the registration process.

Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Express Program

The MAS Express Program, a specialized program established under the GSA Schedules Program, is designed to simplify, streamline, and ultimately accelerate the process for vendors to obtain Schedule contracts.

Offers are currently being accepted under the MAS Express Program for specific products under selected Schedules. In order to participate in the MAS Express Program, vendors must meet specific criteria for certain products under these Schedules. Vendors must also successfully complete Pathway to Success, an education seminar designed to assist prospective Schedule contractors in making an informed business decision as to whether obtaining a GSA Schedule contract is in their best interests.

Instructions for submitting offers under the MAS Express Program are included in the applicable Schedule solicitations.
