Research & Development - Human Resource Programs

Some important dates in history:

  • May 15, 1862 - U.S. Department of Agriculture Established
  • 1881 - Division of Forestry established in the Department of Agriculture.
  • October 18, 1972 - Federal Water Pollution Act, amendment of 1972, defines standards for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to control sources of water pollution.
  • August 17, 1974 - Forest and Rangeland Renewable Resources Planning Act directs the Secretry of Agriculture to assess all lands and to prepare a program.

Human Resource Programs
Research & Development consists of a variety of employees. Research, Scientists, Research Managers, Personnel Specialists, Computer Programmers, Budget Analysts, etc. We offer a wide variety of employment opportunities and when we have positions available, we advertise them in as many different sources as possible in order to get the announcements out to the public.
