 Safe Drinking Water Hotline
Environmental Protection Agency.
"Provides the general public, regulators, medical and water professionals, academia, and media, with information about drinking water and ground water programs authorized under the Safe Drinking Water Act. The Hotline responds to factual questions in the following program areas:
  • Local drinking water quality
  • Drinking water standards
  • Public drinking water systems
  • Source water protection
  • Large capacity residential septic systems
  • Commercial, and industrial septic systems
  • Injection wells
  • Drainage wells"

The EIN is an on-line, publicly available electronic directory of biographical and professional information regarding ecological experts. The EIN is open to all scientists with expertise in all areas relevant to the field of ecology."

University of Wisconsin.
Provides access to contact information for water experts in Wisconsin.
 Ask the Bay Experts
Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
Provides answers to frequently asked questions about the Chesapeake Bay and a way to submit new requests for information. Questions are answered by "experts in many diverse fields of Bay issues including wetlands, pollution, watershed management, shad restoration, fish passage, fisheries, lawn care for Bay repair, blue crabs, monitoring, SAV and more. They work in a variety of academic institutions, non-profit organizations, federal/state government in the Bay watershed and Bay-related businesses."
