2008 WRP Cumulative Contract Information

The following documents summarize by State, the total number of acres enrolled in the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP).

This voluntary program provides landowners financial incentives and technical assistance for restoring wetland functions and values while maximizing wildlife habitat benefits on eligible land. Through WRP, the Natural Resources Conservation Service provides financial and technical assistance to landowners to address wetland, wildlife habitat, water quality, and related natural resource concerns on their land in an environmentally sound and cost-effective manner.
