PANDEMIC FLU STORYBOOK SERVES AS REMINDER TO PREPARE

The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) pandemic influenza storybook contains stories detailing the effects of the 1918 and 1957 influenza pandemics on families and communities.

This CDC resource takes a look through the eyes of those who lived it or heard first hand from survivors of these pandemics. It serves as a reminder for Ohioans to prepare.

While planning efforts continue on local, state and national levels, it is equally important for Ohioans to take steps to protect themselves from the effects of a potential influenza pandemic and other emergencies.

FREE MATERIALS AVAILABLE

We are offering a respiratory etiquette lesson plan geared toward K - 5 grade. The kit has age-appropriate activities along with some hand washing posters and sticker activity.
