So the redbud in your front yard is the same age as that oak in your back yard, but what does that mean to you? What does that mean to your trees? In this case, caring for these trees could require vastly different tactics. You see, redbuds grow faster and live shorter lives than the mighty oaks. Therefore, even though the two trees may be the same age, they are in very different stages in their life.
