2007 Stewardship Week
"Today is the Day to be a part of Conservation’s Power"
Districts turned up the heat and were the power behind good conservation in their communities.
The 2007 Stewardship Week was observed April 29 - May 6, 2007, and the theme was "Today is the Day to be a part of Conservation's Power."
Basic topics covered in the 2007 theme materials included energy saved by no-till farming practices; solar, wind, alternative fuel sources; renewable and non-renewable resources; conservation at home; and partnerships with conservation districts, community and families working together.
