The Stewardship and Education Committee is pleased to announce the 2008 Stewardship theme: “Water is Life.” Stewardship Week will be officially celebrated April 27 to May 4, 2008, but we encourage you to celebrate throughout the year. Materials for 2008 Stewardship Week are available from the NACD Marketplace.

Another opportunity to get students involved in Stewardship Week is the NACD Auxiliary "Water is Life" Poster Contest. Go to our poster contest page for more information and the contest entry form.

Please keep in mind that in order to receive your Stewardship materials by April 18, 2008, you must place your order by March 18 if paying with a by check, or by April 1 if paying with a by credit card. Did you plan and hold an event to promote this year's Steawardship Week? If so, share it with us by filling out and submitting this form. 2008 Water Is Life Poster Contest
The annual National Conservation Poster Contest provides kindergarten through twelfth grade students an opportunity to convey their thoughts about soil, water and related natural resource issues through art. It also highlights the educational outreach efforts of conservation districts and their state associations, auxiliaries and agencies. This year's contest theme is "Water is Life" to go along with the 2008 Stewardship Theme.
