Welcome to the Great Lakes Region
GSA's Great Lakes Region (Region 5) is honored to serve its federal agency customers in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. GSA employees in Region 5 support other federal workers located in 1,000 government-owned and leased buildings by acquiring and providing:
GSA Great Lakes also assists agencies with the donation, redistribution, sale, and abandonment or destruction of government-owned personal property. The Office of Small Business assists area businesses by providing counseling, information, and resources that will help secure contracts with the federal government. GSA also provides the administrative and logistical support required for day-to-day operations of our local Congressional District Offices.
GSA is a federal procurement and property management agency created to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public. GSA’s 12,000 employees provide services and solutions for the workplace operations of 1.1 million federal workers located in government-owned and leased buildings in 2,100 U.S. and overseas communities.
