Briefly

Michael Brady is an agricultural economist with the Production Economics and Technology Branch in the Resource and Rural Economics Division. He is engaged in a variety of research projects related to land use. A particular focus is on how factors such as technological change and policy intervention influence the relative competitiveness of agriculture to compete for land based resources. He has also conducted research in behavioral economics that looks at how and why decisions made by small groups differ from those made by individuals.

Education

Michael received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics in 2007 and an M.A. in Economics in 2004 from The Ohio State University. He received an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics in 2001, and a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University in 1998.
