Grazier's Conference Scheduled for January 17th

The Kansas Graziers’ Association (KGA) Annual Winter Grazing Conference will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 in Assaria, Kansas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the day will be Terry Gompert, Nebraska Extension Specialist. Topics to be presented include "things that make money in the beef industry" and "the functional beef cow."

The conference will be held at the Assaria Lutheran Church, 124 West First Street. Assaria is located approximately 10 miles south of Salina just east of I-135 at the K-4 exit.

Registration is $25 per person. Registrations received by the January 12 deadline will include lunch. Late registrations are not guaranteed a meal.
