Invitation

On behalf of the International Organization for Biological Control of Noxious Animals and Plants, West Paleartic Regional Section (IOBC/WPRS), you are cordially invited to participate in the 5^th meeting of the IOBC/WPRS Working Group “Induced Resistance in Plants against Insects and Diseases”.

The meeting will cover all aspects of induced resistance and induced tolerance. This time, however, a special emphasis will be placed on chances and limits of induced resistance/induced tolerance, such as:

Chances and limits in multitrophic interactions

Chances and limits of model systems

Chances and limits in crop protection

The meeting is open to presentations of work on fundamental and applied aspects, dealing with insects, diseases and stresses. We aim to attract, like in former years, scientists of different fields, as well as companies, and we will provide a platform to exchange experience and views and to interact with each other.

This together with the scenic location we are sure that the meeting will again be scientifically successful and socially fun.

So we hope to meet many of the participants from former years and are looking forward to attract “newcomers”.

Fees for participants include the participation in all sessions, proceedings, as well as welcome reception, social dinner, lunches and coffee breaks. Visit to the Alhambra is optional.

Accompanying persons are requested to pay a reduced fee, covering the welcome reception and the conference dinner.
