Purchasing for Disaster Recovery

GSA programs support federal, state, and local government efforts to prepare for emergencies by procuring supplies and services in advance.

GSAAdvantage!® Disaster Relief

Federal agencies and state and local agencies, under the GSA Disaster Recovery Purchasing Program, can acquire supplies and equipment from GSA's online shopping and ordering system at GSAAdvantage!®  The Disaster Relief section is designed to quickly link customers to specific products and services typically needed for preparation, response, and recovery from disaters.  

Although anyone may browse, only a federal employee with a GSA SmartPay® purchase card or a GSA Activity Address Code (AAC) can make purchases.

Disaster Recovery Purchasing Program for State and Local Governments

State and local governments can now use GSA Schedule contracts for procurements both before as well as after emergencies occur.  A variety of products and services supporting recovery from major disasters, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attack are available. More information here.
