Deluxe Corporation, the worlds largest manufacturer of consumer checks, has created a check design titled Arbor Day and donates a portion of the designs sales to The Arbor Day Foundation. This Minneapolis-based company contributes $1 from every order of its Great Forest check line to support the Foundation's tree-planting and educational programs.

Digital Insight is an Intuit company and the leading provider of online banking services to mid-market banks and credit unions in the United States. In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and as part of the company's "It's So Easy To Be Green" online banking and bill payment campaign, Digital Insight will plant 100,000 trees in 2009 to help replant our nation's forests.

Since the spring of 2004, Doubletree has worked with the Arbor Day Foundation on a variety of environmental education and tree planting projects. Some highlights:

  • The Doubletree Teaching Kids to CARE® Community Outreach Program has helped to engage more than 100,000 grade school students in 150 locations about the importance of trees and the environment. Supporting programs have reached an additional 91,000 teachers and 2.1 million students in grades 2 through 4.
  • Doubletree Hotels / Arbor Day Foundation 250,000 Tree Milestone. This program has contributed to the planting of another 175,000 trees in America's national and state forests and regional parks.
  • Exploring Trees Inside and Out Traveling Museum Exhibit. A new environmental education experience is planting the seeds of knowledge in some of the nation's top children's museums, botanical gardens and science centers.

In furthering this commitment, they have partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant our nation's forests through their Bring Your Own Bag campaign. dressbarn and maurices will plant one tree for every purchase of a reusable bag purchased in 2008.

HSBC

HSBCHSBC has renewed their commitment to plant trees in our nation's forests for a second year. In 2007, the company planted 100,000 trees. This year, with the help of their customers, they will continue to go paperless to plant trees. For each qualifying paperless transaction made by their customers through December 31, 2008, the company will plant one tree with the Arbor Day Foundation.

John Deere

John Deere John Deere is the exclusive equipment provider for the lawn care and general maintenance of Arbor Day Farm. John Deere promotes the efficient, responsible use of natural resources while preventing or minimizing unfavorable impacts -- a commitment reflected in the energy-efficient systems and equipment they design and produce.

Mary Kay As part of their "Pink Doing Green" campaign, Mary Kay Inc. has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 100,000 trees in America's national forests in 2008. This positive action taken today will have everlasting impact on our environment, changing the quality of life for future generations. Progressive Progressive, the country's third largest auto insurer, has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees and help rebuild our national forests. For each car insurance customer who opts to use less paper and do business electronically by enrolling in Progressive's Paperless Policy option, the company will plant a tree in a U.S. National Forest. So far, Progressive has committed to planting over 500,000 trees, and that number is growing quickly! To learn more, visit progressive.com.

In 2008, RISO, Inc., a leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly high speed printers and digital printing technology, partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help replant national forests in the US damaged by fires or disease. RISO has pledged to plant 100,000 trees on behalf of its customers and reseller network to further reduce the environmental impact of these other technologies.

Toyota

Toyota has provided invaluable support to the Foundation’s environmental education programs for youth. Toyota sponsors the Foundation’s annual Arbor Day National Poster Contest for fifth graders and has provided funding for the updated Grow Your Own Tree kit and production of the educational video, “ Arbor Day: the Holiday that Makes a Difference”.
