Welcome

The Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to publish a Journal of legal scholarship relating to the development of law as it relates to science and technology. The Journal is released three times during the academic year. The first two issues of each volume address a broad range of medical, scientific, technological, and social science issues. The third volume is devoted to a symposium topic that the Editorial Board selects.

The Journal publishes articles written by professors, practitioners, medical doctors, scientists, and notes written by students. The student notes are chosen through an anonymous selection process. Each article or student note that we publish is scrutinized through a seven tier editing process. Our editors are responsible for checking the content and accuracy of each article, correcting the citation format, and providing authority for material that demands proper documentation.
