We engaged Lesley to develop a Photography Policy for the Government of Yukon.  In addition to developing the Policy, Lesley provided workshops for government communications officers and local private sector photographers. Our relationship with some local photographers had become strained as a result of misunderstandings over a variety of copyright and licensing issues that had arose across government.  Lesley's workshops clarified the rights and obligations of copyright owners, moral rights and other licensing issues.  Lesley was able to strike a balance between the interests of our photography industry and our needs as a client.  Lesley's services and advice were provided in a timely and professional manner.  Added value was provided through ongoing dialogue and advice as the Policy was being developed. In the end, we have developed a Photography Policy that is regarded as Best Practise standard and a healthy relationship has been restored between the government and our photography industry.
