OSU Offers Teacher and Counselor Education Courses This Summer in Portland


CORVALLIS, Ore. – Registration is now open for Oregon State University’s Summer Session 2007 teacher and counselor education courses in Portland.

The classes are offered by OSU’s College of Education and Extended Campus/Summer Session.

The classes offered are: Fundamentals of Counseling, Pediatric Psychopharmacology for School Personnel, Children’s Literature, School Counselors and Academic Achievement, and Online Instructional Design and Course Development.

Most classes are held at the Portland Community College Sylvania campus. The Online Instructional Design and Course Development class is at the PCC-SE Center campus.

The first classes start June 25. Classes range from one day to eight-week credit courses.

About OSU Extended Campus: Ecampus extends OSU to students around the state, nation, and the world, and each year delivers over 300 accredited OSU courses via the Web, video/DVD, and other technologies. Students can complete their degree, add a minor or take courses for graduate credit or professional development.
