Title: Determination of Picloram in Soil and Water by Reversed-Phase Liquid Chromatography

Author: Wells, M.J.M.; Michael, J.L.; Neary, D.G.

Date: 1984

Source: Arch. Environ. Contam. Toxicol. 13. 234-235 (1984)

Description: A reversed-phase liquid chromatographic method is presneted for the determination of picloram in the parts per billion (ppb) range in soil, soil solution, and stream samples. Quanitification is effected by UV absorpation at 254 nm. Derivatization is not necessary. The method permits 92% ± 7.1 recovery from water samples and 61.8% ± 11.1 recovery from soil samples.
