Passports: Acceptance Facilities

Passport Acceptance Facilities are public offices that accept passport applications and forward them to the Passport Services Office for processing. There are over 9,000 such facilities, generally post offices, clerks of court, public libraries and other state, county, township, and municipal government offices that have been designated to accept applications on behalf of the United States Department of State (DOS).
