The Madagascar Founders Circle Trip in 2005 was an exciting adventure! Talented expert guides, Dr. Merlin Tuttle and Fiona Reid, led the trip. Unique insights were provided by Madagascar's leading mammalogist, Dr. Steven Goodman; Malagasy bat expert Fanja Ratrimomanarivo; and a local naturalist/guide. In each park, on-site naturalists explored and described the special features. Although the trip emphasized bats and nocturnal outings, members enjoyed far more of Madagascar and its unique wildlife than on a more general nature tour.

BCI's 2007 Founders Circle Adventure explored Australia and New Zealand, home to a host of unusual animals, including more than 75 species of bats. The trip was between October 24 and November 9, 2007.
