Dear Forum Participant:

I am distributing the final meeting notes for the Biological Collections Forum that the National Park Service sponsored in Washington, DC, on April 2, 2008.  On behalf of Director Mary Bomar, I thank you again for your participation and interest.  You are free to share these final meeting notes with others.

Following the forum, interest has remained high.  Ongoing interest and commitment is the foundation on which we can build lasting partnerships to preserve National Park Service scientific collections for both the resource management and scientific communities, while making them accessible for research that will benefit science in general and resource management in the parks specifically.  As we reach significant milestones in forming such partnerships, we will share the news with you.

Please contact Ann Hitchcock, at 202/354-2271, or me at 202/208-3884, if you have new ideas or proposals to further our mutual goals.

Sincerely,

/s/ Herbert C. Frost
