Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz have no public or media events on their schedules. Secretary of the NavyGordon Englandwill conduct a Town Hall Meeting on National Security Personnel System at 1:30 p.m. EDT in room 5A1070. A senior military official and senior Department of Justice officialwill conduct a background briefing for media on the subject of the Combatant Status Review Tribunal. The briefing will be in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579 at 2:30 p.m. EDT. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
