Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict & Interdependent Capabilities Michael G. Vickers testifies at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on Irregular Warfare and Stability Operations: Approaches to Interagency Integration at 2 p.m. EST in room 2118 Rayburn House Office Building.

 

Army Maj. Gen. David Rodriguez, commander of Combined Joint Task Force-82, and commanding general, 82nd Airborne Division, will brief live from Afghanistan at 10 a.m. EST, February 26, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing security operations in Afghanistan.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
