Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program: Reporting Period and Due Date for JAG Reports

Local JAG Grantees: To better serve the grants community, the Office of Justice Programs enhanced the Progress Report module in the Grants Management System (GMS) in December 2006. As a result, a permanent reporting period for all local JAG awards has been established in GMS: January 1–December 31, with reports due March 31.

State/Territory JAG Grantees: State Administering Agencies (SAAs) should submit annual progress reports via the GMS Progress Report module. All reports should be submitted within 90 days of the SAA's chosen annual reporting cycle end date.

To obtain assistance in using the Progress Report module, please contact the GMS Help Desk by e-mail at GMS.helpdesk@usdoj.gov or by telephone at
1-888-549-9901 (choose option 3).

You will also find a progress report training aide along with other helpful documents in the Grants Management System (GMS) On-line Training Tool.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact your State Policy Advisor.
