Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for Nondestructive Evaluation

Dr. Alfred Broz has been involved in the field of Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) for thirty years. Dr. Broz became a member of the National Resource Specialist program at the FAA in July 1990. Before he joined the FAA, Dr. Broz spent fifteen years as a civilian with the U.S. Army in NDE, in a role similar to his FAA position.

Dr. Broz is an internationally known expert in NDE and has shared his expertise with private industry, the aviation industry, manufacturers, educational institutions, and other government agencies.

Dr. Broz was elected to Sigma XI Honorary Scientific Research Society.

Academic achievements: Dr. Broz received his formal education in Physics and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
