Multi-Family Housing ProgramsUSDA's Rural Housing Service makes loans to developers for very low-income, rural rental housing. Using rental assistance grants, direct loan borrowers 'buy down' the rent of very low-income tenants, so that they pay no more than 30% of their income for housing. Loan guarantees are made for moderate income tenant housing. |
