Rating

What This Rating Means

PERFORMING
Adequate

This rating describes a program that needs to set more ambitious goals, achieve better results, improve accountability or strengthen its management practices.
  • Program management and planning are top priorities. Grant administration was recently moved from one agency to another to strengthen program management and communication with community grantees.
  • Goals and performance measures have been identified for the program, but grantees have not yet begun to report on their performance.
  • An independent evaluation of the program did not adequately address program performance.

Improvement Plan

About Improvement Plans

We are taking the following actions to improve the performance of the program:

  • Developing and updating targets for all performance measures in order to improve goal-setting for the program.
  • Developing a refocused evaluation plan to assess the program's performance and impact.
  • Implementing performance improvements, including rolling out a new grantee reporting system to collect program performance information.
